Job Description

Position Summary:

Perform Final Assembly operations of pump trucks and related products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

? Remove paper, plastic, and other masking materials after painting operations

? Apply safety and informational decals

? Layout and apply customer graphics

? Stamp all serial # numbers and I.D. tags

? Install all parts not assembled prior to painting operations

? Buff, polish, and clean to remove overspray and general production soils

? Torque wheels to specified values

? Inspect equipment for damage or problems and report to the Final Finish Lead Person

? Document all work performed on the Final Finish checklist

? Check all fluid levels and fill as needed

? Look for issues and report to the Supervisor or Lead Person

? Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety

? Perform additional duties as assigned or required

? Able to perform overtime as required.

Qualifications:

? Supply own set of basic tools

? High standard of attention to detail

? Mechanical assembly skills

? CDL a plus

Education/Certification/Training:

? High school diploma or equivalent

? Mandatory safety training (see "Total Compliance Management" program)

? Waste management training (see safety manual)

? On-the-job training

Physical Demands:

? While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and use hands to finger, handle or touch; frequently required to push and pull.

? Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

? Ability to climb on and around machinery being assembled.

? Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, peripheral, and the ability to focus.
