Contract to Hire role.

These roles will be 1st SHIFT JOB, located in Peabody until the end of the year then Northeastern Blvd in Salem NH



Position Summary Execute diverse mechanical and electromechanical tasks, which are semi-skilled in nature, within a dynamic production or repair setting. Key capabilities include the assembly, construction, and disassembly of intricate medical apparatus. This encompasses working with high voltage power units, robust RF components, combiners, high voltage capacitor banks, high voltage gradient amplifiers, custom cable assemblies/wiring harnesses, and liquid-cooled manifold systems. This is a temporary-to-permanent role. Key Responsibilities Assembly and Disassembly: Build and take apart top-level and sub-level assemblies following detailed operational method sheets (OMS), engineering blueprints, wire lists, diagrams, verbal directions, or established procedures. Tool Usage: Utilize a variety of hand tools, pressure gauges, and install wiring and manifolds. Work with non-solder components such as transformers, IGBTs, high power FETs, heat sinks, cooling fans, hoses, and printed circuit boards (PCBs). Testing and Refurbishment: Conduct resistance checks, curve tracing for FETs, and pressure testing. Employ electronic cranes and lifts for disassembly processes. Technical Comprehension: Interpret complex engineering drawings and modify parts as required to implement engineering change orders (ECOs). Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering and repair teams to ensure all assemblies are repaired and updated to the most current revision levels. Support & Soldering Basics: Assist the Electronic Repair Team by providing assemblies for professional soldering repairs and demonstrate a foundational understanding of soldering practices. Basic Machining: Perform drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping tasks when necessary. Teamwork: Participate effectively within a team structure to achieve common objectives. Workplace Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including benches, tools, and equipment. Safety Adherence: Strictly follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety guidelines, correctly manage and dispose of hazardous materials, and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with OSHA, FDA, and CDC regulations. Training Assistance: Provide basic instruction and guidance to new hires or team members as needed. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to efficiently complete assignments with minimal direct oversight. A proactive approach to suggesting improvements for processes or products. Strong capability to follow both written and spoken instructions accurately. High school diploma or equivalent qualification, combined with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Familiarity with SAP and/or Agile software systems is beneficial, though not mandatory. Must be physically capable of lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
