Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Must be able to work from sketches, templates, blueprints and engineering documents. Must be experienced in medium to heavy assembly work through the use of handheld and power tools. Good mechanical aptitude. Being able to read an electrical schematic is a plus. Must have the ability to use precision measuring equipment (scales, levels, calipers, tape measure etc. Must be self-motivated and able to work for periods of times without direct supervision. . Must be regular in attendance and able & willing to work overtime. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma and minimum 2 years of related experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals. Ability to prepare reports and documentation. Ability to communicate with other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Essential Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving long periods of standing/sitting Must make us aware of any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.
