and have an immediate opening for a

Mechanical Assembler

. In this role, the right candidate will build, wire, and test electrical apparatus and control equipment, using your skills to follow technical drawings and procedures. You'll contribute to products that support cutting-edge research, healthcare, and environmental progress.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reading and following electrical drawings, routers, and work orders Using hand tools, power tools, and bench tools to assemble and test components Drilling, tapping, and mounting equipment, including electrical boxes and conduit Measuring, cutting, bending conduit and pulling wiring through Wiring motors, valves, and terminations for wire harnesses Assembling electrical panels and enclosures Operating material handling equipment (carts, lifts, dollies, etc.) as needed Completing all required paperwork accurately and on time Preparing, cleaning, and packaging equipment for shipment

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in industrial or electrical equipment manufacturing is a plus Basic working knowledge of electricity and electromechanical equipment Electro-mechanical aptitude preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus High school diploma or equivalent required Technical or trade school education preferred

Payrate:

$20-25/hr

Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts Report defect in any equipment or protective device Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks Attend all required health, safety and environmental training Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor Assist in investigating accidents/incidents Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct
