Job Summary: Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for the hands-on assembly of complex equipment, including mechanical sub-assemblies, plumbing of gas/vacuum lines, and electrical wiring. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and the capability to work both independently and with a small team. General Accountabilities
Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
Inspects, operates, or tests machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Dismantles machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts.
Performs routine maintenance.
Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines how to correct them.
Repairs machines, equipment, or structures.
Maintains or repairs specialized equipment or machinery.
Work with purchasing manager on needed parts, supplies, or equipment.
Read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
Performs general cleaning duties of buildings or properties.
Assist with testing, leak-checking, and troubleshooting completed systems.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean organized work area.
Collaborate with engineering and production team to improve build processes.
Preferred Skills
Experience with plumbing/tubing routing (compression fittings, stainless steel line forming, etc.)
