Job Description

Cleveland Mixer designs and manufactures engineered industrial equipment for a variety of industries. We are seeking a mechanically inclined person to be a critical member of the manufacturing team.

Ideal Background:

You pride yourself on your ability to fix things; that is, you have excellent mechanical aptitude. Previous assembly experience or work history in machinery repair and maintenance. Experience with valves, engines, pumps, gear reducers or transmissions would be very helpful. Skilled in problem solving, specifically fixing machines or figuring out a better way to do standard operations. Ability to read blue prints and understand 3D models. Previous colleagues can speak to your dedication to safety, ability to keep work area orderly & clean and that you have demonstrated reliable attendance. Work in a team like manner with engineering, machining and welding personnel to complete subassemblies on time and within quality standards. Demonstrated attention to detail. Physical ability: Capable of standing for 6+ hrs per day and lifting 25 lbs unassisted. Candidates experienced in 5S, Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing are strongly favored
