Mechanical Applications Engineering Manager

Job Description

$85,000- $100,000 per year
Position is a Direct Hire in Suwanee, GA and requires onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of customer service representatives, application engineers and designer/drafters
- Perform as project manager overseeing large projects including customer contact and working with sales team and factories.
- Reviewing and approving drawings for customers.
- Light travel
- Experience with electrical motor design and fabrication design including baseplates, bell housings and swing bases.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical preferred) Emphasis in power transmission / gearmotor highly preferred
- 1-3 years of manufacturing and/or technical support experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Management/supervisory experience
- Siemens Teamcenter experience
- Siemens NX experience
- Understanding of electrical motor design and fabrication
- Oracle knowledge/experience
