Job Description

The Mechanic will ensure the operation of pinsetter, automatic scoring machines, lanes and other bowling equipment is at the highest level of operating proficiency.

You will be expected to:

\xc2\xb7 Immediately fix malfunctions of the automatic pinsetter/arcades.

\xc2\xb7 Fix minor malfunctions to minimize interruptions of the games.

\xc2\xb7 Use specialized tools to perform diagnostic tests on electrical motors and relays.

\xc2\xb7 Disassemble machines and replace malfunctioning parts.

\xc2\xb7 Perform routine maintenance, including oiling and lubricating mechanical parts and replacing worn belts

\xc2\xb7 Order any parts needed to fix the machines.

\xc2\xb7 Set or adjust the automatic machines on each alley to properly remove and replace the pins.

\xc2\xb7 Clean and lubricate machine.

\xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain annual, monthly, weekly and daily maintenance schedules on all equipment.

\xc2\xb7 Create a preventive maintenance program for the pinsetter machines.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure high scoring lane conditions meet and align with USBC specifications.

\xc2\xb7 Within budget, keep inventory current including machine parts, cleaning supplies, lubricating solutions, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Train other Mechanics and Pin Chaser on proper mechanic procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Rotate and maintain pins.

\xc2\xb7 Identify and suggest repairs and replacements of malfunctioning bowling equipment.

\xc2\xb7 Help maintain arcades when needed.

\xc2\xb7 Complete any tasks delegated by management

Job Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 High School Diploma required or GED equivalent, or currently pursuing one.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum age of 18 years old.

\xc2\xb7 Experience working in the bowling industry.

\xc2\xb7 Experience working on machines as a Mechanic, preferably in the Bowling Industry.

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to multi-task and prioritize during busy times.

\xc2\xb7 Must have reliable transportation.

\xc2\xb7 Experience working with POS systems a plus.

\xc2\xb7 Employment subject to successfully completing a Background Check and/or CORI Screening.
