Meat Production Associate

Position Overview

This is a full-time opportunity for individuals interested in joining a fast-paced meat production facility. No previous experience is required -- full training is provided. The role involves working in a cold environment, operating modern equipment, and helping ensure that all meat products meet strict quality and safety standards.

Schedule & Pay

$17.00 per hour (bi-weekly pay) 40 hours per week Monday-Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Overtime may be available based on production needs

Essential Duties

Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment Operate and maintain production machinery Inspect meat products for quality and food safety compliance Follow sanitation protocols, SOPs, and USDA guidelines Package finished products for distribution Report equipment issues or safety concerns Work collaboratively to meet production goals Perform additional tasks as assigned

Preferred Skills and Experience

(Not required; training provided)

Experience in meat processing or food manufacturing Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices High attention to detail Ability to work in cold and fast-paced environments

Physical Requirements

Stand and walk for extended periods Lift 20 lbs regularly, 50 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs occasionally Bend, kneel, climb, reach overhead, grasp tools, twist, and squat throughout shift Push or pull up to 150 lbs occasionally Work at 40F (4C) for extended periods Frequent use of hands and fingers
