Uses the order guide from Lead person.
Verifies the trays are ready for SVP and special orders.
Ensure that these products are not over produced.
Ensures that each processor has enough trays for production ensuring that product is not over filled.
Trays specified product per its specifications.
Trays designated product, if more than one item coming down the line, as per specifications.
Ensures trayed product gets faced on conveyor the correct way.
Ensure rotation after each break.
Verify that product is trayed correctly and re-trays when necessary.
Responsible for providing baskets with liners and placing them under conveyor to catch product which may fall off conveyor.
Responsible for opening extra product as needed to fill daily orders, by following the Box Opening Procedure.
Verify that dicer does not over fill.
Flip cutting boards and remove and dump metal panel on dicer after every break.
Responsible and ensures that cover of dicer and cutting boards are cleaned.
Provides help to Line #1 if necessary.
When production is completed these processor then becomes the Cube Line, where they count out trays and tray single and SVP packs per specifications.
When applicable responsible to put veggies on a tray in a basket and lays mat by conveyor belts.
When applicable responsible for K-bobs being put together on the skewers per specifications and traying the finished product.
When applicable ensures that the trayed product is taken to the Beef Room where it goes on the conveyor and are wrapped and packed off normally.
Responsible to count out the number of trays needed to fill that days order.
Responsible for production quality.
Ensure all tools and supplies needed to get the job done are available.
Notify Lead when issues arise.
Responsible for sanitation of work areas.
Assures compliance with all company safety rules.
Follow and monitor proper safety equipment usage and safety practices.
Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF System.
Accountable to Denver Processing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
In case of an absence another employee with the same qualifications and training will replace that individual.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Ability to speak, read, and write English Language
Good verbal and written communication skills
Significant experience in production process
Must attend work consistently
Forklift Certification
Knowledge of knife sharpening procedures.
Considerable knowledge of production processes and work requirements
Good attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work in cooperation with others
Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, crouching, kneeling intermittently.
Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
Be able to work in a cold environment.
