Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter/Wrapper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess strong culinary skills, particularly in meat cutting and food preparation. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meat products for our customers, ensuring that all items meet our standards of freshness and quality. Your expertise will contribute to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications and customer requests. Ensure all meat products are properly packaged and labeled for sale. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat cutting area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and excellent service. Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs to management and team. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all products. Unload trucks Unload and fill lunch meat, frozen meat.

Qualifications

Previous experience in meat cutting or a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cutting techniques. Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and best practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment as well as independently. A background in culinary arts or restaurant experience is a plus.
