Join our team as a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter at a reputable grocery store known for its quality meats and exceptional customer service. Your role will involve preparing and cutting a variety of meats to meet customer specifications and maintaining a clean and organized meat department.
Meat Cutter Responsibilities:
- Safely and accurately cut and prepare meats according to customer needs and department standards
- Operate and maintain meat processing equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation protocols
- Receive, inspect, and store meat products, rotating inventory as necessary
- Assist customers with meat selection, offering recommendations and cooking instructions
- Maintain an organized meat department with proper labeling and display presentation
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and reduce waste
- Stay updated on industry trends and new meat products
- Previous experience as a Meat Cutter in a grocery store or similar setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of various meat cuts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- $20-$25
