*Preference given to candidates with experience in meat processing and cutting. One position to focus on grinding, patty making, and sausages; experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to established specifications and customer requests Ensure all meat products are handled safely, stored properly, and maintained at optimal freshness Package meat products efficiently while maintaining presentation quality and adhering to food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with sanitation regulations Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about cuts and preparation methods, and provide exceptional service Follow all food industry regulations related to food handling, safety protocols, and hygiene practices Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies or quality issues

Experience

Prior experience in food production or preparation within a kitchen or retail environment is preferred Strong knife skills and expertise in meat cutting techniques are essential Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the food industry or restaurant setting Previous experience in culinary roles or kitchen environments enhances your ability to excel in this position Knowledge of packaging methods suitable for retail or wholesale meat products is advantageous Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele Experience working in a fast-paced setting that demands attentioni to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week
