Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in meat cutting and preparation. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to food safety, and excellent customer service skills. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meat products for our customers while ensuring that all safety and hygiene standards are met.

Responsibilities

Utilize various cutting techniques to prepare meat products according to customer specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Package and label meat products accurately for display and sale. Assist customers with inquiries regarding meat cuts, preparation methods, and cooking tips. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production of meat items for various culinary needs. Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs to management. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food production and handling.

Qualifications

Proven experience in meat cutting or a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cutting techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Culinary background or training is a plus but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform lifting tasks as necessary.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
