General Manager Responsibilities include but not limited to: The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for making sure the restaurant meets McDonald\xe2\x80\x99s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are high, so this is an extra-important role! The General Manager works with his/her leader to set the restaurant\xe2\x80\x99s goals and builds a plan to achieve those goals. Other key responsibilities include.

  • lead a team of Assistant Managers, Swing Managers, and Floor Supervisors to run a profitable restaurant, and leading a high level of QSC.
  • Assist all managers with their own goals, follow up on their progress, and provide feedback to improve their performances
  • \xc2\xb7Adhere to McDonald\xe2\x80\x99s Quality, Service and Cleanliness standards and Food Safety standards set by McDonald\xe2\x80\x99s and the State Health Department
  • Design strategy and set goals for growth
  • Conduct weekly team meetings and discussing department opportunities and progress
  • Attend weekly and monthly meeting
  • Oversee and manage the restaurant P&L to hit monthly goals
  • Adhere to McDonald\xe2\x80\x99s Quality, Service and Cleanliness standards and Food Safety standards set by McDonald\xe2\x80\x99s and the State Health Department
  • Reports directly to Area Supervisor and assisted by Trainers, Hiring Managers, and Maintenance team.
  • Conducts employee performance reviews and basic administrative duties and cash handling
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
  • Leading the People Department role by making sure the restaurant communicates all hiring needs, development ongoing training for all employees, follow ups, employee retention, and reviewing all people scorecard metrics.
  • Conduct some administrative duties including employee documentation, weekly reporting, and payroll.
  • Reviewing operational metrics daily and creating evolving actions plan to improve operational metrics.
  • \xc2\xb7Responsible for hitting monthly labor goals including approving hours added, overtime, and effectively reviewing crew schedules.
