Duties

Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha or Micros. Prepare food items following established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments efficiently. Assist with food handling, sanitation, and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and equipment. Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to maximize sales. Restock supplies, clean tables, clear trays, and help keep the restaurant tidy for a welcoming environment. Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, retail, or grocery stores is a plus but not required -- we're happy to train! Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards preferred but not mandatory. Willingness to learn new skills such as POS operation (Aloha POS or Micros POS), food handling, and sanitation practices.
