Position Summary

We\'re looking for a motivated MBA intern with functional experience in strategy and finance, and with a deep interest in agriculture and climate-tech. This position will report to the SVP, Finance and Operations and work closely with the CEO and other executives to complete high-visibility projects. Though we do not expect you to have deep domain expertise on everything we\'re doing at InnerPlant, we hope you can learn and adapt quickly. This is a terrific opportunity for someone looking to learn more about sustainable agriculture, biotechnology, remote sensing, and other world-changing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build financial projections: Using your analytical skills and financial modeling experience, you will create detailed projections that will be used to guide strategic decision-making and fundraising efforts.
• Prepare due diligence: You will assist in the preparation of due diligence materials for potential investors, partners, and customers. This will include creating presentations, conducting research, and analyzing data.
• Research statistics and trends
• Help draft company strategy presentations and documents
• Engage in partnership and business development discussions
• Assist as needed on regular company activities

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an MBA program with a focus on finance or strategy, previous experience in finance, consulting, or strategy desired
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Interest in sustainable agriculture and climate-tech
• Previous experience with venture fundraising a huge plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Interest in sustainable agriculture and climate change
• Familiarity with biology, agronomy, or remote sensing a plus
