Deliver engaging tutoring sessions in person in homes or libraries in Marin County Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to maximize understanding Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, critical thinking, homework support. communicate progress with parents or guardians when appropriate

Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at various educational levels Strong knowledge of core math subjects including algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and higher education topics. Familiarity with curriculum for K-8 or K-12 Proficiency with learning technology platforms and computer skills. Experience working with children, students with special education needs, or adult learners is highly desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively Background knowledge in physiology, anatomy, microbiology, genetics or related sciences is a plus. Prior experience in education is advantageous.
