About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated

Middle School Math Teacher

to join our partner school's team for the current school year. The ideal candidate is an innovative educator who fosters academic excellence and inspires students to reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a

positive classroom culture

where all students feel welcomed, respected, and motivated to learn. Build meaningful relationships with students and families, demonstrating care, commitment, and accountability for each child's growth. Design and deliver

academically rigorous and student-centered

math instruction aligned with the school's curriculum and philosophy. Plan and implement

differentiated instruction

to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students receiving special education services, multilingual learners, and accelerated students. Facilitate engaging

whole-group, small-group, and individual instruction

that fosters participation and achievement. Assess and analyze student progress to inform instruction and provide targeted interventions and enrichment opportunities. Promote school-wide values that support a

positive, caring, and safe learning environment.

Collaborate with colleagues through

Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), coaching, and ongoing training

to continuously refine instructional practices and improve student outcomes.

Qualifications

Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification

(required)

Bachelor's degree

(required);

Master's degree

(preferred) Minimum of

2 years of teaching experience

(preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities Reflective, analytical, and solutions-oriented mindset Openness to feedback and commitment to continuous growth Persistence and professionalism in the pursuit of excellence, even when faced with challenges
