Lyndon Institute\'s Career and Technical Education Center is seeking a 0.5 FTE, part-time Mathematics instructor to work directly with our CTE students and instructors to integrate proficiency indicators for mathematics into our program curricula. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with Proficiency-Based Instruction and assessment, Project-Based Learning, and working collaboratively with a wide range of professional colleagues. As this is a new initiative, this candidate will be instrumental in laying the foundation for identifying and supporting coursework and processes for allowing students to demonstrate growth and proficiency in mathematics within the CTE programs. This position is open for immediate hire and is grant funded through Perkins.

Qualifications: - Licensed Vermont Mathematics Educator (or eligible to be licensed)- Excellent technological, organizational, written, oral, and interpersonal skills- Experience with high school-aged students in the educational setting - Career and Technical Education preferred- Experience working with diverse learners needing varied levels of academic support - Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues and participate in a professional learning community- Experience with proficiency-based learning and assessment strategies and project-based learning- At least 3 years of relevant experience preferredThis position will report to the Director of Career and Technical Education in collaboration with Mathematics teachers.
