Under the general supervision of the Director of Materials, the Materials Technician II is responsible for many aspects of supply distribution to the organizations various departments as needed. In addition to distribution the Materials Technician II serves as the primary point of contact for Central Stores. This position is responsible for inventory management, distribution, receiving/shipping and all aspects of storeroom maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Understands and is able to perform all of the Essential Functions of the Purchasing Agent and Material Technician; intermittently fills these roles as needed.
Replenishes supplies to departments with consistency as needed in a timely fashion using departmental inventory supply sheets with appropriate PAR levels. Responsible for the monitoring of products for outdates and/or expiration dates. Tracks and communicates inventory stock outs and vendor back-orders on a weekly basis.
Assists Purchasing Agent with procurement of items and stock issues in the Materials Management Inventory System (MMIS). Adds items to purchase orders when stock levels fall below minimum levels or forecasted use dictates an increase in quantity.
Receives incoming freight as well as prepares outgoing freight. Enters products received into the MMIS system accurately and timely once received. Matches packing slips with purchase orders and files accordingly.
Performs complex and accurate delivery of interdepartmental and U.S. mail, x-ray films and med/surg supplies to off-site clinics as a member of the materials management team.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested to support the overall needs of the department, and in accordance with Curry Health Network's Mission, Vision and Shared Values.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Valid Unencumbered Oregon driver's license is required.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability and willingness to exhibit behavior consistent with standards of behaviors, performance improvement and organization values.
Ability to manage a stressful work environment that includes frequent interruption.
Ability to work with multiple projects and deadlines.
