Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do:

As a Materials Presenter Level 1 at Lantech, you will pull roller cores for shipping to coating suppliers. Schedule pickup for transport. Route rollers to machining and put in stores when completed. Put incoming parts from laser and machining into stores. Dts parts in Winman. Help deliver parts to Bluegrass building. Maintain the Kanban system, Pull or add cards to flow based on demand. Work with Inventory Leader on obsolete and slow-moving items in inventory. Perform stock verifications and research root causes for discrepancies. Responsible for 5S of component grocery and materials area. Perfect candidate must be able to multi task, prioritize and work in a fast paced environment

Physical requirements

include standing for 9.5 hours each day, lifting up to 50 lbs, and walking around all day.

What are We Looking For? (Requirements)

We are looking for someone who:

Knowledge of the Kanban system Is able to read, follow instructions, and communicate in English Has proven attention to detail Is a self-directed individual with good interaction skills Is self-motivated multi-tasker willing to gain the experience with material presentation as it relates to one piece flow production. Ability to work overtime as needed for customer fulfillment. Is detail oriented with a strong commitment to quality, safety and able to work effectively within the fast-paced environment. Has the ability to stay focused and on task Has sustained record of good attendance. Has a high aptitude for working with situations of a manufacturing nature, effective use of time, and be capable of adapting to a varied work environment. Practices safe work habits as an individual and with co-workers. Adheres to guidelines related to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Is able to pass a pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check. Is willing and able to work overtime to complete project and/or meet scheduling deadlines. Is customer focused with a strong commitment to quality and production schedule. Is legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Education & Experience:

Prior materials or warehouse experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent is required (Additional training from vocational or trade school is a plus)
