Position: Material Handler/Fork Truck Operator/Receiving

Department/Area: Materials (6:00-4:30 M-Th + OT) or 7:30-4:00 Monday-Friday

Responsibilities of the position may include some or all of the following:

? Work with other employees in Materials area to store, track, and supply parts to assembly lines to meet production needs

Deliver parts to Assembly lines

Receive product, count and check for quality, document and store

? Check quantities of parts received against bill of lading/shipping ticket
? Unload acoustic material from boxes and store in correct locations by part number
? Unload Japan parts from overseas containers, verify counts and part numbers against bill of lading, and store parts in appropriate locations
? Verify part numbers of materials against pull sheet
? Assemble required quantities of correct acoustic pieces and/or small parts based on pull sheet
? Record differences between pull sheet and materials counts
? Inform Group Leader of differences in quantities or damaged/defective materials
?

Operate fork lift truck to move skids of parts and containers as needed

Materials area or to assembly lines

? Assist in physical inventory of stored materials
? Empty trash hoppers and cardboard and plastic containers
? Load and operate compactor to bale cardboard and/or plastic for recycling

Skills/requirements of the position:

? Accuracy and attention to detail
? Ability to read and accurately compare and match part numbers
? Ability to organize own work and complete required tasks with minimum of direct supervision
? Ability to operate fork lift truck (training and licensing will be provided, if needed)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
