We are actively hiring for the position of

Material Handler

for our plant in

Solon, OH

Shift:

Hybrid Shift Saturday - Wednesday 5:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Duties & Responsibilities

Check off the forklift inspection to ensure it is in good running condition. Check the paper supply for all press machines, making sure they have enough supplies on the floor. Empty out full blue bins next to the cutting machines as well as the box bailer. Maintain safe and clean areas around the storage racks and the entire warehouse, ensuring there aren't empty pallets. Receive and unload material from the delivery truck and ensure the packing slip matches the materials being delivered. Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately. Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards. Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs. Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned. Assist with any Maintenance projects Other tasks assigned by the manager

Qualifications

Good problem-solving skills. Good organizational skills. Attention to detail. Ability to read, write, speak & understand English. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers. Ability to use hand/power tools and safe use of them. Ability to multi-task with changing priorities. Ability to recognize safety issues & corrective actions. 2 years of experience in Shipping/Receiving
