Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This position receives, stores and distributes product within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transports product to and from designated areas in the facility Ensure proper storage and retrieval Consolidation of product in location Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the facility Return overstock to proper locations and stock checks Renter shipment into igus system Stack goods in the correct locations by following inventory control instructions Check loads are secure Stack empty pallets Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations Perform other duties as requested by Team Leader, Production Supervisor or Manager

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Manual dexterity and good eyesight are required Frequently lift up to 50 pounds Adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time Having good eye-hand-foot coordination Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED required

Prefer candidates with forklift operation experience

Reliable attendance record

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Must be available and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to satisfy customer needs

Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner Maintain a clean & safe environment
