Job Description

Advantech Industries, Inc. is a family-owned manufacturing company based in Rochester, New York, specializing in CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly services. The company, founded in 2002, serves multiple industries, including defense, medical, and aerospace, and operates out of a 250,000-square-foot facility.


We are currently seeking an individual to collaborate with us as a Material Handler. The Material Handler is responsible for moving materials, parts and skids throughout the facility.


Successful candidates will possess:

A HS Diploma or GED; 4 years of previous forklift operation in a manufacturing environment; Ability to safely and efficiently use a forklift to move throughout the facility and in and out of trucks; Ability to manage the incoming and outgoing scrap program; Alignment with the requirements and principles of the Advantech Quality Management System and ISO 9001:2015; Capacity to handle changes in business operations and adjust to new situations; Preparedness to move and off of a forklift, using hand and foot controls; Ability to work with limited supervision.

According to the New York Pay Transparency law, pay range for this job is $19.00 - $25.00 / hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
