Job Summary: A qualified load builder with a strong attention to detail, comfortable lifting and moving lumber building materials, the ability to correctly identify and count materials, operate forklifts safely, and engage the team with a positive attitude.



Responsibilities we'll trust you with:

Place products into proper location in the Warehouse and outside in yard Ensure that the load is properly stacked, packaged, and labeled for delivery Ability to maintain inventory controls by pulling and replacing inventory into the correct bin location Maintain a high level of customer service for any walk-in clients Ability to safety and efficiently drive a forklift in accordance with all company safety standards Report any known equipment issues to the warehouse manager immediately Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed and turned into the correct location The successful employee for this position will show initiative and be proactive Verify accuracy of inbound/ outbound shipments Perform other duties as assigned

Your area of knowledge and expertise:
Preferred qualifications:

High School or GED 2-3 years of lumberyard or related industry experience Ability to operate material handling equipment Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Skills:

Physical Requirements:

Frequent (Carrying/lifting requirement) - Must be able to lift 50+ pounds Frequently (Sitting/standing requirement) * Work Environment works inside warehouse and in outside weather conditions.
