Job Description
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Madison, IN 47250
Duration: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $21.00/Hr.
Shift: 2nd : 3:30pm-12:00am (M-F)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to lift 35 pounds repeatedly, a minimum of 2 times per day Operate electric reach truck/order picker in the movement of stock Operate conventional fork truck Prepare orders and documents for material or product moving in and/or out of the plants Operate equipment required for moving material or product in or out of the plants Load and unload transportation equipment while ensuring safety and security of material and/or product Develop product, parts, and material knowledge Develop working knowledge of company work processes and systems Work at heights up to 25 feet Perform cycle inventory counts and record results using personal computer, CRT, or other electronic data capture systems Use personal computer or CRT lot location system to record piece counts received and/or shipped and record part locations
Education and Experience Required:
High School Diploma or GED Manufacturing or warehouse experience
