The DC Material Handler is responsible for operating equipment and manually loading and unloading in order to shipping and receiving merchandise and executing other distribution center operations. The Material Handler reports directly to the Operations Supervisor.

As a DC Material Handler you will be responsible for all aspects of warehousing and distribution. This includes:

Unpacks and loads furniture merchandise on and off trucks by hand and with equipment Receiving, putting away and picking of furniture products. Use a stock picker forklift to place or remove large items on warehouse shelves Package and label items for shipment Keep track of shipments and product relocations within the warehouse Follow all safety regulations

Qualified candidates must be able to handle merchandise weighing up to 250lbs and must be able to work at heights up to 30 feet (operating a stock-picker).
