The Material Handler II is responsible for picking and processing orders within the warehouse.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS



Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred


Experience: 3 or more years related experience


Travel: None


Work Schedule: : This position works between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, or 6 pm to 6 am Monday through Friday depending on assigned shift. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Picks and processes orders. Operates material handling equipment (i.e. forklifts, telehandlers, hand trucks etc.). Places materials at point of use in assembly and warehouse environment. Communicates and coordinates with shop personnel for needed material. Maintains compliance with company policies. Maintains compliance with all OSHA and Company safety requirements. Cleans and maintains work area. Use of hand and power tools. Identifies ways to improve processes and participate in implementing those improvements. Uses keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy. Adheres to 5S principles ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Cross-trained in at least three different areas/tasks. Ability to train employees on tasks. Capable of filling vacancy of Manufacturing Lead on as needed basis. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
