Job Summary:

The Material Handler for liquid chemical transfers is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, transferring, and managing liquid chemical products within a production environment. This role ensures that all chemical handling activities comply with company procedures, environmental regulations and safety standards. Key duties include operating pumps and transfer equipment, connecting hoses and lines, monitoring tank levels, completing accurate documentation, and performing routine inspections of containers, storage areas, and transfer systems. The material handler works closely with production, quality, and safety teams to support continuous operations, prevent spills and cross-contamination, and maintain a clean and compliant work area. Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and reliable communication are essential for success in this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receiving truck and railcar deliveries Greets drivers, receives paperwork, and pulls samples for testing Testing samples, treatment of feedstocks when applicable Manages liquid transfers into and out of storage tanks throughout the facility Interplant communication with supervisors to maintain consistent workflow of material through the facility Moving and spotting 18-wheeler tankers within the facility for loading and offloading Proper management of paperwork Inventory of treatment chemicals Ensure usage of proper PPE as required/needed

Skills and Education Requirements:

GED or High School Diploma Required Minimum of 2 years industrial workplace experience Ability to drive 18-wheelers and back up tankers (CDL not required) Capable of working provided mathematical equations for treatment calculations Willingness to work some weekends as needed Capable of working from heights with use of fall protection Willing to be self-driven to finish tasks to completion

Job Type:

Full time, M-F (8am - 5pm)

The position will be in contact with all levels of personnel within the company.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
