What you'll do

Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load and unload materials safely and efficiently. Utilize RF scanners for accurate inventory management and order picking. Handle shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all products are processed correctly. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and meet daily operational goals. Perform heavy lifting and materials handling to ensure timely distribution of goods. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse to promote a safe working environment. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Assist in training new team members on warehouse management systems and equipment operation.

Basic qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse distribution or materials handling. Familiarity with operating various equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and clamp trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a leadership role within a warehouse setting. Knowledge of construction processes or heavy equipment operation is a plus. Experience with order picking systems and warehouse management software.
