FMM is seeking a motivated professional to fill our Material Handler position. FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing both residential and commercial clients nationwide.

Job Summary:

The Material Handler will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials on the job site to ensure project timelines are met

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

(included but not limited to)

Assist with operating equipment:

Assist the Operator with safely and efficiently operating telehandlers or forklifts to move materials around the job site.

Load and unload:

Receive, unload, and secure materials onto trucks and into designated storage areas on the job site.

Inventory management:

Track materials, conduct cycle counts, and assist with inventory audits to ensure accurate records and prevent shortages.

Safety and compliance:

Conduct daily inspections of equipment, report any maintenance needs, and follow all safety protocols and regulations to minimize hazards.

Site coordination:

Coordinate material deliveries with site supervisors to ensure materials are available when needed.

Site maintenance:

Keep loading docks, storage areas, and machinery clean and organized.

Basic maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance like cleaning, fueling, or recharging equipment.

Required Skills and Abilities:

TWIC certification required Must be certified in operating forklifts and telehandlers Good hand-eye coordination and peripheral vision Attention to detail and safety awareness The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to pass a Fit for Duty screening Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to reach, bend, and stretch
May be exposed to loud noises, dust, and fumes
