Position Overview

The Assembly Machine Operator will safely perform the necessary tasks to produce quality products in a timely basis

Schedule:

12-Hour Rotating Night Shift


Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM


2-2-3 rotation (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days; then alternates)

Pay rate:

$22/hr depending on experience

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Follow a pre-defined press schedule for job specific requirements. Read work orders or flows oral instruction to ascertain materials or containers Allocate materials for entire production floor including missing pre-drying Loads and unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand Conveys material from storage or work sites to designated area Counts, weigh and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet Attaches identifying tags or labels to material or marks information on box, gaylords, pallets or their

containers

Stacks or assembles material in work areas or onto pallets Assists in the set-ups of auxiliary equipment Removes samples of materials, labels with identifying information Assist in loading or moving materials and products Clean and maintain auxiliary equipment, driers, conveyors, loaders, etc. Fill in on all shifts and break for operations as needed Participate in plant-wide safety efforts Provide plant-wide support ###
