Job Summary:

The Material Controller is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and maintaining the flow of raw materials, resins, and packaging throughout the facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Review schedule for shift changeovers, and print box tags from PLEX ERP system*
Load/Manage inventory for jobs*
Upkeep accuracy of inventory*
Check each press for correct part identification and ensure that paperwork is filled out correctly for end of day production report data entry.*
Assist the Visual Inspector with training operators on daily routine tasks and break coverage.*
After receiving dispositioned D.M.R.'s oversee the sorting and reworking process for nonconforming material. Take care of scrapped parts.*
Enter parts into computer; expedite parts to other facilities or storage*
Performs miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.*

Assist in other duties as needed.*

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.*
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment*

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking during an 8 hours shift.*
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.*
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.*
The employee frequently is required to stand; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel or crouch.*
The employee is occasionally required to walk and talk or hear.*
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.*
