End-to-End Machining in an Employee-First Shop

Be part of a trusted Indianapolis, IN manufacturer that has supported mining, food production, and broader manufacturing for nearly 60 years. You'll join a tight 13-person crew running 20+ machines, including 3-5 axis mills and lathes with live tooling--all backed by steady demand and continuous investment.

A Day in Your Role

You'll take full ownership from program to production. Start by reviewing prints and GD&T, write or edit toolpaths in Mastercam at the machine, set up a 3-axis VMC, cut your first-off, and perform a first-article inspection. Dial in offsets, tweak G- and M-code as needed, and move into stable production. You'll troubleshoot issues, collaborate with teammates, and occasionally support lathe setups or milling on additional axes when projects call for it.

Monday-Thursday,

7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Friday:

7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Core Responsibilities

Set up and operate mills, lathes, and other machines as needed Program parts at the machine using Mastercam Perform first-article inspections and ensure quality through production Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and program issues

What You Bring

Hands-on experience setting up and running 3-axis mills (5-axis and/or live tooling exposure is a plus) Proficiency programming parts with Mastercam Comfort with precision measuring tools (calipers, indicators, etc.) Ability to read and interpret drawings A growth mindset and desire to build your career with the team
