Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Technician - Automotive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in automotive repair and diagnostics, particularly with GM vehicles and diesel engines. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties

Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues related to mechanical systems, electrical systems, and powertrains. Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including transmissions, alignment systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize schematics for troubleshooting and repair processes. Maintain high standards of vehicle maintenance and repair while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Provide accurate auto estimating for repairs and services needed. Collaborate with service technicians to enhance workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction. Engage with customers to explain repairs and maintenance procedures clearly. Execute welding tasks as needed for vehicle repairs. Keep detailed records of services performed on vehicles.

Qualifications

Proven dealership experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques. Proficiency in working with hand tools, power tools, and automotive electrical systems. Experience with vehicle maintenance practices, including alignment and powertrain repairs. Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Previous service technician experience is essential. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems. A valid driver's license is required.
