Duties

Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical components. Conduct specialized repairs such as diesel engine servicing, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration, wheel alignments, and auto body repairs when necessary. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems with precision. Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and inspections to ensure peak vehicle performance. Diagnose automotive electrical systems including wiring harnesses, sensors, and control modules to resolve electrical faults effectively. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and offering maintenance recommendations to enhance vehicle longevity. Keep detailed records of all work performed in compliance with dealership or service center protocols. Assist with auto body repairs or welding tasks as needed to restore vehicle integrity after collision damage or rust issues.

Experience

Proven dealership experience or extensive background working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools and procedures for both gasoline and diesel engines. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment equipment, and schematic interpretation is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge covering powertrain components, suspension systems, braking systems, and automotive electrical systems. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair machinery. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus but not required. Previous experience in auto body repair or welding enhances your versatility as an Automotive Technician. Pay: $25.85 - $31.13 per hour
