POSITION OVERVIEW

The Lead Master Aesthetician will be responsible for the training program and inventory control/ordering, all while working in the treatment room providing luxurious treatments and delivering a unique experience to each guest.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

• Perform a wide range of aesthetic services, including facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, body treatments, and other specialized therapies
• Offer expert advice to guests on skincare and beauty regimens, tailoring treatments to meet individual needs
• Train and mentor other aestheticians, providing ongoing education on the latest skincare techniques, products, and industry trends
• Conduct regular skill development sessions to improve the team\'s expertise and service delivery
• Monitor inventory of spa products and supplies, replenishing and ordering as needed
• Assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of treatment rooms and equipment, ensuring a hygienic and safe environment for both guests and staff
• Work with leadership on Member development through coaching and standard operation policies
• Assist spa leadership with implementing new wellness trends regarding treatments, products, protocols, and modalities
• Ensure that all treatments and services meet regulatory and safety standards
• Implement and enforce proper sanitation and sterilization protocols
• Be the first line of communication with all master aestheticians and move to spa leadership as needed
• Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all guest comments, concerns, and/or requests; Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
• Ensure all areas of the spa are kept clean and well maintained
• Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters teamwork and continuous improvement
• Must lead by example by demonstrating exceptional guest service and Member interactions along with following all Company and department policies and procedures
• Attend and participate in support training and staff meetings
• Ensure all Fontainebleau core values, property, department standards are implemented and applied
• Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Valid Nevada Aesthetician License or Nevada Advance Aesthetician license required
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as an aesthetician in high-volume luxury spa or resort
• Ability to perform facial treatments with the use of machines to achieve maximum benefits for guests
• Extensive knowledge of skincare treatments, products, and beauty therapies
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced spa environment
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations in the spa industry
• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Polished appearance and demeanor
• Excellent guest and team member skills
• Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Extraordinary attention to detail, while working under tight deadlines
• Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams
• Ability to resolve problems to the satisfaction of both the guest and the company
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends
• Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position leads all Master Aestheticians.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

COMMISSION STRUCTURE

This role is 100% commission. Additionally, we offer a competitive training rate during the initial training period to support your learning and development.
