Zappos is seeking a highly-structured, process-oriented, and customer-focused team player, that will use their knowledge of Zappos and Amazon systems, tools, and requirements supporting continuous catalog maintenance in support of our catalog listing health on Amazon Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA). The Catalog Specialist will be responsible for researching, maintaining and correcting data discrepancies within the product catalog systems whilst maintaining established SLAs. Ensuring data accuracy to maximize our catalog listing health and buyability on Amazon.
As a successful Catalog Specialist, you will rely heavily on building relationships across buying, vendors, catalog, taxonomy and fulfillment teams. You assist in data cleanup effort through usage and monitoring of metrics and KPIs. You'll deliver exceptional service to your customers through clear communications on processes, updates, changes and delays in product buyability. You will be incremental in providing solutions, documentation, and initiatives for making recommendations for solutions.
Key job responsibilities
Maintaining and ensuring data integrity by researching and correcting listing errors and suppressions
Monitoring KPIs and SLAs to communicate and drive resolution to prevent product from being not sellable, and creating SOPs to document resolutions
Creation of standard reporting to support business and team needs
Support root cause analysis and corrections
Create, update and follow SOPs supporting operations
Support site merchandising efforts including brand store updates and Enhanced product listing pages
Willingness to take initiative and responsibility to participate and complete various FBA team tasks and projects
Collaborative partnering with all support teams and stakeholders to maintain and correct errors.
Auditing and maintaining reports for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness
Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining and reporting on Service Desks and queues as assigned
A day in the life
The FBA catalog operations team works to maximize product buyability. They work with buyers, vendors, and internal FBA team to identify, triage, investigate and correct listing errors to ensure maximum buyability and customer conversion. Additionally they support teams with vendor and internal business reports supporting our internal FBA programs. They also support FBA site operations with brand store updates, placements and A+ content.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
Experience with Excel
A minimum of 2 years of e-commerce catalog or equivalent experience
A minimum of 1 year of Amazon Catalog, Wiki, or fulfillment system tools experience
Knowledge of product go-live processes

Prior experience working with Amazon
Ability to multitask across broad topics while retaining a high level of attention to detail

The base pay for this position ranges from $32,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $70,300/year in our highest geographic market.
