Job Description

Wright's Dairy Farm & Bakery is a 5th-generation family business known for our fresh-from-the-farm dairy, scratch-made baked goods, and high-quality customer experience. We are looking for a creative and organized Marketing Specialist to help bring our brand to life across social media, email, events, and in-store experiences.

The Marketing Specialist supports the planning and execution of marketing initiatives, including seasonal campaigns, social media, photography, email newsletters, events, and website updates. This is a hands-on creative role that works closely with our Marketing Manager and leadership team.

What You'll Do

Create engaging social media content that reflects Wright's unique story and products Schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments/messages Capture photo and video content across our farm, bakery, creamery, and retail spaces Assist with email newsletter creation and audience segmentation Update website content and write short blog-style updates Design on-brand visual assets for print and digital use Support event promotion, materials, photography, and on-site coverage Collaborate with leadership and external creative partners on campaigns

What We're Looking For

2+ years of marketing experience (content creation, social, email, etc.) Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to match a brand voice Experience with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics Ability to capture and edit photos and short-form video Proficiency with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp preferred) Strong organizational and project management skills Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively Familiarity with the local Rhode Island market is a plus

Schedule

Part-time: 16-24 hours per week Schedule varies based on business needs and seasonal demands Weekend availability required Must be available during the days leading up to Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Regular travel to our Providence location at least once per week Seasonal travel to our Warren location (late spring through early fall)

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods for computer work Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout farm and bakery areas to capture content Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (equipment, signage, event materials) Work may occur indoors, outdoors, and in production areas with varying noise and temperatures
