Overview
CME Credit Union is seeking a creative, detailed-orientated Marketing Specialist to improve brand awareness through the development and implementation of the marketing plan. They accomplish this by crafting and executing marketing campaigns and coordinating various activities, including content creation, social media management, market research, campaign tracking, and data analysis, to promote a company's products or services, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies and goals.
Responsibilities
Assisting in the planning, design, and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels like email, social media, website, and print.
Creates and delivers thoughtful and engaging presentations on CME CU products/services for the purpose of creating new business.
Works with Community Relations Coordinator to formulate and execute lead generation plan, seeking growth opportunities that aligned with the credit union goals.
Performs writing and editing marketing copy for website, social media, email newsletters, press releases, and other promotional materials.
Maintaining and updating company social media accounts, engaging with followers, and monitoring online conversations.
Monitoring campaign performance using analytics tools, tracking key metrics (e.g., website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates), and generating reports to assess campaign success.
Collaborating with external vendors like designers, printers, and marketing agencies to execute marketing initiatives.
Ensuring all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and messaging.
Represent and promote CME CU at community and business development events. Maintains a strong, visible corporate image.
Works with Branch and Operations Managers to fulfil and address members inquiries so that they (branch/operations) can serve as the member's primary point of contact.
Qualifications
Proven ability to write compelling copy, effectively communicate with internal teams and external vendors.
Excellent interpersonal skills for representing organizations during media events, product launches, product demonstrations and trade shows
Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects
Familiarity with various marketing platforms and channels, including social media, print campaigns, digital marketing and email promotions
Understanding of digital marketing channels like SEO, SEM, social media advertising, email marketing.
Basic knowledge of design principles to create visually appealing marketing materials
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
Educational/Experience Requirements
Degree or relative experience in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of bank or credit union experience
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate consumers to do business with the credit union.
Knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
