The Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the WCU marketing team by handling the creation of versatile brand content while supporting seamless day-to-day outreach and marketing operations. This position primarily focuses on producing consistent and high-quality campaign assets across all mediums through which WCU communicates. It also serves as a key member of the core marketing team, assisting with the development and implementation of campaigns that support the organization's growth and outreach to the local communities it serves. This role supports all WCU marketing initiatives and also provides backup in the absence of other marketing team employees. This is a non-exempt position.

Use TMA (The Member Advantage(TM)) process to meet member, employee and credit union needs and to identify, recommend, develop and implement WCU products and services. Use AID, Inc. principles to serve our internal and external members and meet CU goals. Assists the marketing team to create the monthly and annual strategic marketing plan. Creates and maintains external vendor relationships to optimize member-centric products. Develop and implement concepts and ideas for attention-catching content. Supports marketing campaigns from initial planning and concept stage through production of final collateral material including but not limited to publications, web content, social media graphics, emails, videos, presentations, collateral items, and audio spots. Create a wide variety of communications to use to tell Wauna Credit Union's story across all the channels WCU uses to communicate with our members and potential members. 8. Conceives of, develops, and executes original concepts for use in publications, advertisements, and other print, digital and in-branch marketing collateral. Under the direction of the Head of Marketing, creates layouts and designs including but not limited to advertisements, marketing collateral, and other published materials for both print and digital applications. Develop print and digital assets for a variety of uses, selecting photos, type, illustrations, and colors in accordance with Wauna Credit Union's brand guidelines. Creates video content for Wauna CU's print and digital media channels to develop brand awareness and equity, generate inbound traffic, and encourage product adoption. Continually evaluates, updates, improves, and manages systems and methods to ensure ongoing relevance to WCU's brand strategy and the organization's strategic plan. Successfully graduate from required Integrity Solutions courses and use in position. Understand, demonstrate and support the mission statement, vision statement and core values of WCU; encourage and coach others to consistently demonstrate corporate values. Demonstrate the ability to work on several tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of financial institution products, services, and operations. Maintain an organized, professional work area and assist in keeping the department presentable. Knowledge of best practices and trends in marketing, design, and social media, as well as managing the member experience and organizational culture. Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and best practices, design platforms (including Adobe Creative Suite), and other software used within the marketing department. Short and long form video production experience preferred. Excellent, demonstrated administrative, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to assist with the facilitation of clear and consistent communications, both internal and external. Grow brand awareness and equity pertinent to product adoption among members and potential members of the Credit Union. Collaborate with marketing team to strategize and drive best practices and ROI analysis. Be genuinely interested in people, with abilities to deal with different people and personalities. Familiar with applicable procedures and policy manuals and knowing where to look for answers to everyday situations. Become familiar with security manual and procedures for burglary and fire, participating in drills. Respect security restrictions, realizing these restrictions protect our members, employees, business partners and our reputation. Ability to regularly work effectively, independently, or as part of a team; treat members, employees, vendors and business partners with utmost courtesy, efficiency, integrity, and professionalism and etiquette; articulate effectively. Ability to operate PC and learn to use various software; operate basic office machines; complete general typing, filing, and computer input tasks. Able to report to work in other branches as assigned. Must be bondable and hold a valid driver's license and insurance. Perform all other duties which may be assigned by management. High School diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience. At least three years related experience.

Frequent use of problem solving, negotiating and cross selling of products and services. Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Exposed to hazard of robbery (training provided to minimize risk). Works near moving mechanical parts of standard office equipment. Occasional exposure to common chemicals used within an office. * Work Hours: This job can typically be done within a Monday through Friday daytime schedule; however, based on events, there will be times when evening and weekend work is required due to business needs.
