Responsibilities
The Specialist of Business Development, Real Estate will help manage pitches and proposals across the Americas. The role is a strategic and relationship-driven collaborator who is detailed-oriented and possesses a broad skillset across several categories: proposal development, pipeline tracking and time management, with knowledge of the real estate industry.
Project Management
Project manage pursuit/pitch development, including development of a workplan to ensure RFP responses are submitted clearly, concisely, and in compliance with all solicitation requirements.
Organize, attend, and contribute to preparation meetings with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction to the satisfaction of internal client.
Facilitate debrief session with pursuit team to document lessons learned. Adopt a continuous improvement mindset.
Content Development
Develop content through original writing and the adaptation of pre-formulated content.
Collaborate and assist with composing the executive summary and key themes for major pursuits with the pursuit team.
Help develop and communicate win themes, strategies, and graphic design approaches.
Produce impactful graphics and collateral that reinforce key messaging and Hines brand standards.
Branding and Messaging
Drive brand consistency while addressing specific clients' needs.
Facilitate the production of relevant and impactful graphics that reinforce key messaging.
Identify new ways to present material to improve pitches and proposals; and assist in maintaining the BD team's internal best-in-class library of creative marketing materials.
Performance Analysis and Industry Insights
Tracks, measures, and reports on performance metrics (win rate, trends, and insights).
Stay informed on industry trends and competitive activities, using insights to refine strategies for future proposals and client presentations.
Knowledge Management
Maintain a library of pitches/presentations, standard marketing collateral materials, case studies, biographies, and knowledge management efforts to aid in client acquisition.
Support the preparation of all deliverables related to the opportunity.
