Role Overview
The
Marketing Manager (Head of Marketing)
is responsible for creating and executing a marketing strategy that drives awareness, generates qualified leads, and fuels revenue growth. This role works closely with the CEO and Head of Sales to build a consistent pipeline through compelling content, strategic campaigns, and brand execution.
This is a role for a
strategic marketer who can also execute
--someone who understands all marketing methods including funnels, paid ads, email, content, events, and brand storytelling, and who can move from idea ? asset ? campaign ? measurable result.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Generation & Funnels
Build and manage top-of-funnel lead generation campaigns (paid + organic)
Own the marketing funnel and optimize for conversions at every stage
Deliver consistent MQLs to the sales team each week
Brand & Content Leadership
Own and protect brand identity, voice, and presence across all channels
Oversee content calendar (social, email, landing pages, lead magnets, and campaigns)
Direct the Graphic Designer to ensure asset deadlines and quality standards are met
Partnership & Sales Alignment
Coordinate closely with the Head of Sales on campaigns, lead flow, and asset needs
Assist with pitch decks, mockups, offer sheets, and event marketing materials
Support strategic launches, promotions, and retainer offers
Systems & Analytics
Track and report marketing KPIs and ROI weekly
Manage ad spend budgets responsibly for maximum return
Continuously optimize key funnel and campaign metrics
KPIs (How Success is Measured)
Weekly Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs):
100+ per week
Campaign Calendar Execution:
100% on-time
Lead-to-Opportunity Conversion:
10-15%+
Cost Per Lead (CPL):
Within approved target
Asset Delivery:
100% delivered by agreed SLA
Qualifications
3-7+ years in marketing management or demand generation
Strong understanding of funnels, paid ads, email marketing, and analytics
Experience managing a content calendar and creative output
Ability to direct a designer and communicate clearly with sales
Bonus: Experience in e-commerce, merchandise, production, or B2B services
