Why We Need You:



The

Marketing Manager - Growth and Retention

is a strategic leader responsible for designing, delivering, and optimizing PEMCO's customer loyalty and retention programs. This role not only develops scalable rewards initiatives, member engagement campaigns, and strategic partnerships but also drives end-to-end program management and delivery to ensure flawless execution and measurable impact by increasing customer lifetime value, reducing churn, and strengthening PEMCO's brand differentiation. This position plays a critical role in both retention and new business growth. Leveraging loyalty and rewards as acquisition tools, the Marketing Manager aligns efforts across internal teams, external partners, and digital platforms to deliver cohesive, customer-centric, and performance-driven initiatives that reinforce PEMCO's Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and long-term growth.


What You'll Be Doing:



Loyalty Program Strategy & Execution

- Lead the development, launch, and continuous optimization of loyalty and rewards programs that drive retention, engagement, and new customer acquisition.

Program Management & Delivery

- Own the end-to-end delivery of loyalty and retention programs, including planning, execution, timelines, resource coordination, and risk management to ensure successful outcomes.

Partnership Development

- Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships that expand the value and reach of rewards offerings, creating benefits for both current and prospective members.

Customer & Prospect Engagement Campaigns

- Plan and execute cross-channel campaigns (email, SMS, digital, social, direct mail) to increase program participation, strengthen advocacy, and support sales growth.

Data-Driven Optimization

- Analyze member and prospect data, retention trends, and program performance to generate insights, refine strategy, and improve ROI.

Sales Alignment & Growth Enablement

- Collaborate with sales teams to integrate loyalty initiatives into acquisition strategies, providing tools that help attract, convert, and retain new customers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with cross-functional experts and stakeholders to build and integrate loyalty initiatives into broader enterprise programs.

Performance Reporting

- Provide clear visibility into program adoption, engagement, and business impact through ongoing reporting and insights.

Innovation & Best Practices

- Stay current on loyalty, rewards, and engagement trends; recommend innovative strategies to enhance both retention and acquisition efforts.

Brand & Compliance Alignment

- Ensure all loyalty communications and initiatives reflect PEMCO's brand values, voice, and compliance requirements. Demonstrate behaviors consistent with PEMCO's policies, values, code of ethics, and business conduct. Authentically support the PEMCO Brand and constantly are on the lookout for top talent to join us to achieve our Mission to Worry Less and Live More. Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:



B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent work experience (Marketing, Business, or related field of study). 7-10 years of experience in marketing with deep expertise in loyalty, rewards, customer retention, and acquisition programs. Proven success in building, scaling, and optimizing engagement or rewards initiatives that drive both retention and new business growth. Experience developing and managing external partnerships and vendor relationships. Strong background in customer and prospect data analysis, campaign optimization, and ROI measurement. Experience in regulated, membership-based, or customer-centric industries preferred.

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive alignment, and inspire collaboration to deliver complex programs on time and within scope.

- Skilled at designing programs that both strengthen existing member loyalty and support acquisition goals.

- Proficient in leveraging data, segmentation, and performance metrics to inform strategy and demonstrate impact.

- Ability to design scalable programs that increase retention while generating new business opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Strong track record of partnering across departments and with external vendors to deliver seamless customer and sales experiences.

Clear Communication

- Professional communicator able to tailor messaging to internal stakeholders, prospects, and members.

Detail Orientation & Precision

- Commitment to accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all program execution.

Compensation:



The pay range for this role is shown below. Compensation decisions are determined based on an individual's qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.


Greater Seattle area target pay range: $124,244 - $151,854. The full pay range is $103,536 - $172,561. Outside Greater Seattle area target pay range: $109,648 - $134,014. The full pay range is $91,373 - $152,289.
Greater Seattle Area is defined as working within approximately 100 miles of Seattle.


Outside Greater Seattle is defined as working approximately 100 miles or more from Seattle.


Benefits:



Regular part-time PEMCO employees working at least 24 hours per week and regular full-time PEMCO employees are eligible to elect coverage under medical, dental, and vision plans for themselves and their eligible family members with generous employer premium cost shares. In addition, as a benefits-eligible employee, you are:


covered by employer-paid basic life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance policies as well as long- and short-term disability benefit coverages. eligible to participate in PEMCO's 401(k) plan, which includes a generous employer match (2 for 1 on the first 6% employee pre-tax and/or Roth deferral, up to federal maximums).
PEMCO provides the following paid leave programs for benefits-eligible employees in their first year of PEMCO employment:


Vacation accrues at a rate of 10 days for new hires and increases based on a schedule to a maximum annual accrual of 25 days based on tenure. Granted four (4) personal days immediately upon hire. Paid holidays for the eight (8) holidays observed by PEMCO throughout the calendar year. Granted up to ten (10) days of sick leave immediately upon hire (pro-rated based on hire date and full-time/part-time status), which is approximately 28 hours more per year than the Washington state-required accrual. In addition, PEMCO provides paid time off for bereavement, jury duty, and employee volunteering in the community.

Other compensation, depending on role, contributions, and performance, may include:


Discretionary bonuses. Tiered sales commissions and/or incentives (from 5-25% of employee's monthly sales). Employee referral bonuses. Shift differential pay.
