This position reports to a Marketing leader and interfaces primarily with the Vistar Marketing team, but will also interact with key internal business partners. The Marketing Intern will gain exposure to the following areas:

The big picture / strategy of a Fortune 200 company, specifically how a distribution company operates, and how Marketing fits in and enables success Candy, snack, and beverage distribution industry (Food/Bev)



Specific Responsibilities include:

Design and implement Data Governance processes to ensure integrity, standardization, and quality of marketing data Help refine product attribution; build attribution dashboards, analyze customer data in order to share insights and ROI Support planning, development and set up of new mareting campaigns; applying data-driven insights around personalization of target audiences and messaging



Skills the intern will learn:

Data governance, data analysis Campaign development

Qualifications:



Must be current student, with a minimum of 3.0 GPA in field of study Must be studying Marketing, or closely related major; must have coursework in digital marketing, CRM/marketing strategy Must be available for a 10 week, full-time internship in Englewood June 1 - August 7. Must have intermediate Excel, including pivot tables and lookups
