Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Strong sense of business acumen and the ability to manage and drive multiple seasons.
• Proven retail competence and analytical abilities with an understanding of retail environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Four years of experience in footwear or apparel buying and/or merchandising, product creation, and/or retail in a vertical, multi-brand, or digital environment.
• Strong affinity for current market trends and how apparel can continue to be a style leader in the marketplace.
• Footwear, Apparel, Equipment, or relevant consumer product buying and/or merchandising experience.
• Understanding of common retail and/or digital profit-based metrics such as sell-through, turn, ASP, UPT, and others.
• Experience with Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
• Merchandising experience in a similar company is a plus.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Own the process of bringing the seasonal assortment to life in direct value stores.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure assortment plans meet consumer demand and execute strategies effectively.
• Participate in seasonal buy reviews and in-season trading to influence actions that optimize growth.
• Work on seasonal strategies to define assortments and ensure products are allocated to the right stores with appropriate depths.
• Coordinate with pricing teams to ensure inventory moves through stores at appropriate speeds while meeting retail KPIs.
