Job Summary

The Marketing Associate plays a key role in supporting Green Cup's marketing and community outreach initiatives. This position combines grassroots engagement with creative digital marketing to help build authentic relationships between the brand and the local Queens community. The ideal candidate is outgoing, dependable, and creative, with a strong interest in cannabis culture and neighborhood connection.

Responsibilities

:

Conduct local outreach to nearby businesses, organizations, and community partners. Assist in planning and executing in-store events, pop-ups, and sponsorship activations. Capture engaging photos and videos for use on social media and digital campaigns. Support daily posting and content management on Instagram, TikTok, and Google. Distribute flyers, loyalty materials, and promotional items in the local area. Engage with customers both online and in person, representing Green Cup's brand values. Track marketing activities and report feedback or community insights to the Marketing Manager. Maintain compliance with New York State cannabis regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

Must be 21+ and legally eligible to work in a licensed cannabis business. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of social media marketing (Instagram, TikTok, Canva, or CapCut). Reliable, organized, and proactive with a positive attitude. Available 16 hours per week; flexible schedule including some weekends or evenings.

Preferred Experience:

Previous work in marketing, retail, events, or community engagement. Familiarity with cannabis products or culture is a plus. Photography, videography, or graphic design experience preferred but not required.
