Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative and confident freelance

Marketing Associate & UGC (User-Generated Content) Content Creator

to collaborate with our team. In this role, you will model for our lash services and produce engaging photo and video content that showcases our offerings. Your content will be featured across our social media platforms, including TikTok and Instagram, to authentically represent the Lash Lab experience.

to oversee the submission of UGC content from other models, and to host model demo appointments. This role has expanded responsibilities beyond UGC creation, including influencer marketing management, social media management, event planning, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Model various lash styles and services provided by The Lash Lab. Create compelling short-form video and photo content during and after lash appointments. Coordinate and host model demo appointments (greet models, manage flow, assist artists as needed). Support the salon's social media strategy by curating and submitting approved content. Collaborate with our marketing team to align content with current trends and brand aesthetics. Maintain a professional and positive representation of the Lash Lab brand.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a UGC creator or model Passionate about beauty, skincare, and lash services. Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and current short-form video trends. Excellent organizational and coordination abilities to manage demo appointments and UGC submissions. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with models and artists. Located in or near Baltimore, MD, with the ability to attend in-person appointments at our Federal Hill studio.

Preferred Qualifications:

An active presence on social media or a portfolio featuring high-quality content. Proficiency with editing apps such as CapCut, InShot, or similar tools. A charismatic and engaging on-camera personality. Added bonus if you have professional experience in the beauty, wellness, or fashion industry as a retail associate, manager, coordinator, business associate, analyst, etc.

Perks:

We provide $150-300 in complimentary lash services and an additional $50-100 in direct compensation for a total of $200-400 for each content project, which should take about 2-4 hours including the time it takes to receive the lash service.
